Terms of service
These are the terms for using Drop, which is run by Nikos Karamolegkos, trading as Drop (“Drop”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are signing up for a business, you agree on its behalf. Questions go to karamole7@gmail.com.
What Drop is
Drop is software for sending marketing email and publishing LinkedIn and Instagram posts, operated from Drop’s website or from an AI agent you connect. It includes writing help, research about your business, scheduling and results. Features change as Drop improves; we will not take away something you rely on without telling you first.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what agents you connect do in it.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
- You must be at least 16, and using Drop for a business or other professional purpose.
Who you may email, and what you may post
This is the part that matters most, because breaking it harms other people.
- Email only people who agreed to hear from you, or whom the law otherwise lets you email, and keep a record of how they agreed. No bought, rented or scraped lists.
- Every email carries an unsubscribe link and your postal address. Drop adds both, and you may not work around them.
- Anyone who unsubscribes, bounces or complains is never emailed again from that brand. Drop enforces this; do not try to get around it, for instance by importing them into another brand.
- No cold outreach, no spam, and nothing illegal, deceptive, hateful, or infringing someone else’s rights.
- Posts must follow LinkedIn’s and Instagram’s own rules as well as these.
We may pause sending or publishing on an account that breaks these rules, or that is causing complaints or bounces at a level that puts other customers’ delivery at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you the chance to fix it.
Agents act for you
An AI agent you connect acts as you, with the permissions you give it on the approval screen: reading and writing and, only if you grant them by name, sending email, publishing posts, switching flows on, deleting things, or moving between your brands. Everything it does is recorded on the Agents page, and you can disconnect it at any time. You are responsible for what you allow it to do. An agent can never email someone who unsubscribed.
What Drop writes for you
Drop uses AI to write emails, posts and research. It is instructed never to invent facts, but it can be wrong. Read what it writes before it goes out; once you send or publish it, it is your message. Research about your business is Drop’s reading of public pages, not a statement of fact.
Your content
What you put into Drop (contacts, emails, posts, pictures, your brand) stays yours. You give Drop permission to store, process and send it only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload.
Plans, billing and cancelling
- Prices are shown in Drop when you choose a plan, and charged monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe.
- An extra brand beyond what your plan includes is charged at the price shown when you add it, from that day and pro rata to your billing date. Archiving it stops the charge from then on.
- The free plan has the limits shown in Drop and can change; we will tell you before it does.
- When you reach a limit, sending stops and tells you why. It never stops halfway through a campaign.
- Cancel whenever you like from the billing page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law says they must be.
- Prices include no tax; VAT is added where it applies.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. The new price applies from your next billing period after that.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work hard to keep Drop running and your data safe. But Drop is provided as it is: we cannot guarantee it will never be unavailable, that every email will reach an inbox, or that LinkedIn or Instagram will accept every post, because those depend on others too.
To the extent the law allows, Drop is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid Drop in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using Drop and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may end an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Either way, ask us before your account closes and we will send you a copy of your contacts.
Data processing
Your contacts and what you send them are personal data you control. When Drop processes them for you, Drop is your processor and these terms are our data processing agreement:
- Drop processes your contacts only to provide the service, on your instructions, which are these terms and what you do in Drop.
- Everyone at Drop who can access them is bound to keep them confidential.
- Drop keeps them secure: encrypted connections, encrypted secrets, and each workspace able to see only its own data, enforced by the database.
- Drop uses the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy, under terms that protect the data as these do. We will tell you before adding a new one, and you may object.
- Drop helps you answer requests from the people on your list to see, correct or delete their data, and you can delete a contact yourself at any time.
- If Drop becomes aware of a breach affecting your contacts, we tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours.
- When you close your account, your contacts are deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something.
- You can ask for the information needed to show Drop meets these obligations.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Carrying on using Drop after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel.
